Timothy A. Brennan, 74, passed away suddenly May 30, 2018 at his home in Painesville Twp.


He was born June 6, 1943 in Painesville to the late Michael John and Gertrude (Randa) Brennan.


Family came first and foremost to him. He was a 1961 graduate of Harding High School.


He was the Founder and Owner of Brennan's Fish House in Grand River for 34 years, retiring in 2005. During his time in Grand River, he served as Councilman and also served as a Board Member of the Lake County General Health District.


He was also a member of Elks Lodge # 549 in Painesville and the Hungarian Culture Club. Tim was an avid Ohio State and New York Yankees fan. Tim and his wife Betty were members of the Finnish Heritage Museum.


Tim is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Becky and John Darida; son, Jack Mickey and Caroline Brennan; grandchildren, Jacob Darida, Timothy "Grati" Brennan and Eliza Brennan. He also leaves his brothers, Patrick and Joseph Brennan; and sister, Beverly Halleck.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jack, James, John, Tom; and sister, Diane Lairson.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 4 at 6:00 p.m. at First Church, Congregational, 22 Liberty Street, Painesville with Rev. Tom Cofer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
A private graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery.


Memorial contributins are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110-9915 or the Building Fund at First Church, Congregational.
