Aili J. Ohler, 93 of Painesville passed away Wednesday May 21, 2014 at Homestead II.
She was the daughter of the late Jennie and Henry Kytta and was born in Fairport Harbor on July 4, 1920.
Aili worked in the Payroll Department at the former Gary Allen Sport Wear in Painesville.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville and a 1938 graduate of Harding High School. She was also a member of the Finnish Heritage Museum of Fairport Harbor. She loved to work with her hands and loved to knit.
Aili is survived by her son, Alan Helsius of Painesville; stepson, Richard Ohler of Painesville; sister, Gertrude Phelps; and nephew, Randy Phelps both of Washington D.C.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Potti Funeral Home 1009 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
