ritariRaymond S. Ritari Graveside Services for Raymond S. Ritari, age 96, of Concord, were held Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville.

Born June 6, 1914, in Fairport Harbor, he passed away Oct. 22, 2010, at his home.

Raymond served in the U.S. Army during World War II, participating in the Pacific Theater. He enjoyed nature and traveling and was a member of Holden Arboretum. He retired as a postal carrier from the U.S. Postal Service in Painesville.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Ritari, whom he married July 4, 1953; grandchild, Jacob Ritari of Japan; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Philip Ritari, who passed away in 2003; brothers, Carl Ritari, Edward Ritari and Arthur Ritari; and sisters, Eleanor Anthony and Jennie Patterson.

No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements were handled by Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home.
