SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES August 8th-9th, 2008 in Fairport Harbor, Ohio Fri. Aug. 8th BANQUET- with Keynote speaker: Brad Sussman • Swedish Folk Dancers • Chamber Music by Timo and Rachel • Folk and Tango Music by Heikki Perttu and Hilkka Helena and Dance held at the Hungarian Culture Club. Social/cocktail hour (cash bar) 5:30 p.m. Dinner 6:30 p.m. Program to follow dinner. Dance following program. Sat. Aug. 9th Tori (Stores are open) 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Marketplace •Vendors and Crafters • Food • Lectures • Finnish Films • Raffle • Children’s activities held at The Luther Center Museum Hill 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. • Food and entertainment • Stubborn Finns • Swedish Folk Dancers, and other performers • Finnish Heritage Museum open • Weaving demonstration. • New exhibit • Coffee and nisu • Gift shop open at the Finnish Heritage Museum Contemporary Church Service 6:30 p.m held at Zion Lutheran Church (corner 5th and Eagle Streets in Fairport) 8:00 p.m. Finnish Film shown at the Luther Center (on Eagle Street 1/2 block from church)******************************************************************************************** Send Registration to: Finn Funn Fest, Finnish Heritage Museum, P.O. Box 1121, Fairport Harbor, Ohio 44077. Adults: $10 registration. Banquet: $ 35/person (registration fee included). Children under 18: admitted free to Saturday events when accompanied by an adult. Banquet price for children is same as adult- $35.00/ person.
